Ian Cauble, a Master Sommelier, is among a select group of 274 individuals worldwide to pass the challenging exam since 1969. His journey was featured in the 2012 documentary SOMM, gaining a cult following. Originally from Huntington Beach, California, Ian pursued his academic and athletic goals at Sonoma State University while playing Tennis. After graduating in 2003 with an International Business degree, supplemented by Wine Business and Spanish studies, Ian's wine career took off during a transformative harvest in Portugal. He achieved notable accolades, winning the 'Best Young Sommelier in the World' competition in Athens, Greece, and securing first place in the TOP|SOMM competition in the United States in 2011. Ian currently resides in Napa Valley, California, with his wife and children, actively engaged in his Napa Valley-based brand, Method and Vyne Wine Co. His involvement reflects his enduring commitment to the world of wine and creating exceptional experiences for enthusiasts.
