Chef Jason McLeod boasts over 25 years of culinary expertise, beginning his journey as an executive chef in San Diego before taking on the development of international culinary programs for Four Seasons Resorts. His exceptional talent earned him two Michelin Stars in Chicago. In 2011, Chef Jason returned to San Diego to collaborate with the innovative hospitality group CH Projects, gaining acclaim from renowned publications like Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, GQ, The New York Times, Imbibe, and The LA Times.
In 2014, he opened Ironside Fish & Oyster in San Diego's historic Little Italy, which quickly became a nationally recognized seafood destination. A strong advocate for sustainable fishing, Chef McLeod is committed to supporting San Diego’s local fishermen. He is also a prominent member of The Ecology Center of San Diego, contributing to environmental sustainability initiatives.
Chef McLeod is a regular feature at food and wine festivals across the country, has appeared as a guest chef on Food Network’s "Beat Bobby Flay," and has hosted dinners at the prestigious James Beard House. In March 2022, he embarked on a new role as a Culinary Consultant for CliQue Hospitality in Las Vegas. In this position, he has overseen the creation and culinary direction of the 27,000 sq. ft. Food Hall “Proper Eats” at the Aria Hotel, as well as Mijo, a modern Mexican eatery and Bel-Aire lounge both located at the new Durango Casino & Resort.
Chef Jason has been spending his time between Las Vegas and California with hosting private dinners and preparing for the highly anticipated Del Mar Wine + Food Festival.
