Started as a scrappy garage project by Dan Kosta and Michael Browne, Kosta Browne has turned into one of the most prolific American producers of pinot noir and chardonnay that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the world’s greats. Kosta Browne will join five huge chef names for a wine-paired dinner at one of La Jolla’s gems, The Estancia Hotel. The chefs: Jet Tila, Food Network star/prolific restaurateur/James Beard nominee; Mawa McQueen, Aspen-based Beard semifinalist blending soul food with global influences; Drew Deckman, Michelin-starred chef and advocate of sustainable Baja cuisine; Benito Molina, Baja’s culinary ambassador (and TV star) known for bold, ocean-inspired flavors; and Estancia La Jolla’s Executive Chef Katie Weber.
